Barcelona Beach Cable Car starts at Barceloneta Beach and ends on Montjuïc, where you can then transfer to the next one, which is the Montjuïc Cable Car that takes you to the top of Montjuïc hill. This means you would need tickets for both if you want to get to the top from the beach.
