Get up close to the Dubai Fountain at the base of the Burj Khalifa

The Dubai Fountain Show is another of the things that you hear about when talking about Dubai. It’s a world-renowned spectacle that combines water with music, and lights in order to create an amazing choreographed performance!
The Dubai Fountain is at the base of the Burj Khalifa and alongside the Dubai Mall, and with it being Dubai, it’s the world’s largest choreographed fountain display!
For an even more immersive experience, you can watch the fountain show from up close by getting access to the ‘Dubai Fountain Boardwalk’, which is a floating platform that gets you just 9 metres (30 feet) from the water jets!
Getting up close gives you an amazing show as you are right in front of the dancing water performance, but so close that you can also feel the mist from the water jets, which on a warm evening can also be a lovely sensation!
The Burj Lake where the fountain sits is a huge 30 acres with the fountain taking up 900 feet up (more than two football fields, to put that into perspective!). The choreographed performance involves projectors, water, music and more than 6000 lights and the set is brought to life!
The Dubai Fountain Show is another thing to tick off your ‘Things to do in Dubai’ list! Just picture the colour, the water, the music and the evening sky and the Boardwalk gives you access to the best view in the house (or lake!).
