Los Tarantos Barcelona, which sits just off Las Ramblas, is the oldest tablao in the city having been founded in 1963. Home to a new generation of Catalan Flamenco, Los Tarantos offers a nightly show that lasts around 30-minutes. Multiple flamenco careers have been started here, which shows the level art on offer.
Founded by a family of flamenco artists and also located just off Las Rambales, Tablao Flamenco Cordobes has been in the city since the 1970's. Over the years this tablao has become one of the most important in Spain and has attracted legendary flamenco artists over the years.
Tablao de Carmen, which is named after the legendary bailaora, Carmen Amaya, is actually at Poble Espanyol on Montjuïc hill. This tablao has been entertaining guests since 1988. You can make an evening out of it at Tablao de Carmen as they offer a ticket including a full dinner option.
Given its location in Poble Espanyol, you also get access to the open air museum after 16:00 with this ticket, so you can soak up the atmosphere before the flamenco show starts.
Palau Dalmases is located in the beautiful and picturesque area of El Born, Barcelona and is housed in an incredible 17th century building, which also adds to the atmosphere. The tablao offers a passionate performance by a singer, a guitarist and two dancers but you can very much feel the raw passion during the performance.
