A fantastical floral wonderland at Gardens by the Bay
{{ticket-block-triple}}
Gardens by the Bay is the incredible nature park which covers both indoor and outdoor spaces and is famous for its Supertree Observatory.
One of the most famous features of Gardens by the Bay is the 'Supertree Observatory' which is made up of huge vertical gardens ranging from 25 to 50 metres in height! The structures are embedded with sustainable functions like photovoltaic cells that harness solar energy, as well as rainwater collection systems to help them being sustainable. They are also home to over 150,000 plants from over 200 different species and quite simply, incredible to look at. Stroll along the OCBC Skyway, a 128-metre-long aerial walkway which is 22-metres up in the air and connects two of the Supertrees and offers amazing views of the gardens and the Singapore skyline including Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer. The observatory has an open-air deck and indoor spaces to enjoy.
Two huge conservatories (some of the largest greenhouses in the world - they are even in the Guinness World Records book due to their size!) made up of thousands of glass panels that house a diverse collection of more than 2000 different plants from around the world. The Flower Dome is temperature controlled and replicates various different environments including the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean regions including the olive groves of Spain (in warm and humid Singapore!), and an Australian Garden section, a South African Garden section and a South American Garden section, while the Cloud Forest simulates a misty mountain environment, complete with an incredible huge indoor waterfall (again, one of the tallest indoor waterfalls in the world!). The area has orchids, a secret garden and hundreds of unusual plants.
A beautiful section of Gardens by the Bay with four sections (Waltz, Dance, Float & Drift) of garden landscapes sitting at a regulated temperature of between 23ºC – 25ºC and where you will find thousands of colourful flowers along with some wildlife! Everywhere you look, you will see colourful blooms, even hanging down and upside down!
A great section at Gardens by the Bay that is a paradise for bird lovers. A fresh water sanctuary which is accompanied by a variety of plants and animals, especially birds and other wildlife.
They haven’t forgotten the kids either. The Children’s Garden features interactive exhibits, water play areas, and educational activities focused on plant life and sustainability, so a great place to let the kids run around and enjoy.
Gardens by the Bay is a great place to visit.
