Ride the iconic Montréal Ferris wheel and admire the views
The La Grande Roue de Montréal which is also known as the 'Montreal Observation Wheel' or the 'Montreal Ferris Wheel' is the tallest ferris wheel in Canada and stands proudly at 60 meters, or 197 feet tall!
The ferris wheel gondolas are sealed cabins, so its open all year round come rain or shine! It offers amazing panoramic views of the local area, including the St. Lawrence River, Mount Royal, Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame islands, see the remnants of the 1967 Universal Exposition. On an evening ride enjoy the city lights including the Jacques-Cartier Bridge light up in all its glory.
A ride on the ferris wheel last around 20-minutes and there are 42 gondolas with each taking up to 8-people, which means you can also book a private cabin for the family to enjoy. Its a great way for either starting your day or capping off with an unforgettable evening as you enjoy the stunning views around you, from Downtown to the Old Port.
