The Mestalla Stadium is one of the most famous football stadiums in Spain and home to 'Valencia Club de Fútbol', or Valencia CF for short. It was opened in 1923 and the stadium had a capacity of just 17,000 at the time. It has since expanded and the stadium now has a seating capacity of 49,430 and the tour gives you the opportunity to explore areas that aren't normally open to the public!
Immerse yourself in the history of the stadium as your expert tour guide, fluent in both English and Spanish, shows you around. They will take you to the club museum where you can read stories behind some of the club's most triumphant matches as well as viewing memorabilia worn by both past and present players.
During the Valencia CF Stadium tour you get the chance to sit in the manager's touchline seat and take photos at the edge of the pitch, and even venture into the players' locker room to soak up the atmosphere! Feel the excitement of standing where the legends of 'Los Ches' once stood, and imagine the weekly thrill of wearing the kit.
The guide can tell stories of the club's journey, from the club formation in 1919, to the stadium opening in 1923, to its present-day successes. You also get to see the trophy cabinet and the grass-stained jerseys from bygone eras, and treasured artefacts belonging to legendary footballers.
The stadium tour offers a unique, behind-the-scenes glimpse into the heart and soul of Valencia CF.
