About S.E.A. Aquarium™ Singapore
The S.E.A. Aquarium™ Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa is one of the world's largest aquariums and a great place to visit as a family. Home to more than 100,000 marine animals from over 1000 different species across multiple different habitats, including sharks, rays, fish and jellyfish!
The biggest habitat is the Open Ocean Tank which holds a colossal 18 million litres of water and has more than 40,000 animals in it from 120 different species and all living harmoniously!
The Habitats
- Strait of Karimata & Java Sea: Features marine life from these regions, including zebra sharks and leopard moray eels.
- Strait of Malacca & Andaman Sea: Showcases species such as the Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins and the giant grouper.
- Bay of Bengal & Laccadive Sea: Highlights unique marine life like the hump head wrasse and the blue-spotted stingray.
- Ocean Journey: Includes species from the Arctic and Antarctic regions, such as the spider crab and the giant Pacific octopus.
- Shark Seas: Dedicated to various shark species, including the endangered scalloped hammerhead shark and the silvertip shark. This tank has a fun underwater tunnel you can walk through so you are surrounded by water and the animals that live in the tank!
- Coral Garden: A vibrant display of coral reefs teeming with colourful fish.
- Touch Pools: There are touch pools where visitors can even interact with some of the marine creatures under guided supervision!
