About San Diego Zoo Safari Park

San Diego Zoo Safari Park is an amazing wildlife sanctuary in Escondido, which is about 30 miles north of downtown San Diego. The safari park covers a huge space of around 1800 acres and is known for its free-range enclosures and commitment to wildlife conservation.

The park offers a fantastic experience where you can watch the animals in environments that closely resemble their natural habitats and unlike traditional zoos, the Safari Park allows the animals to roam across the large, open spaces, which provides a more immersive experience!

The safari park is home to more than 2500 animals from dozens of different species including elephants, lions, cheetah’s, giraffes, rhinos, gorillas, various species of birds including flamingos, along with many more animals, so it’s a great place to entertain the kids!
