About San Siro Stadium

The San Siro Stadium (officially known as Stadio Giuseppe Meazza), is one of the most iconic football stadiums in the world. Home to two of the city's most successful football clubs: AC Milan and Inter Milan.

The stadium is the largest in Italy and the third largest in Europe. Opened originally in 1926, with a capacity of around 35,000 seats. However, over the years, it has undergone several renovations and expansions and now has an increased capacity of over 80,000!

The stadium is named after Giuseppe Meazza, a legendary Italian footballer who played for both Inter Milan and AC Milan, and it features a distinctive oval shape with four separate stands. It’s also renowned for its electric atmosphere during football matches, especially during the Milan derby between AC Milan and Inter Milan!
