About Seville Aquarium
The Seville Aquarium or ‘Acuario de Sevilla’ as it’s known locally is a fantastic aquarium that the whole family can enjoy.
Home to over 10,000 creatures from over 400 different species, the aquarium is set up over five different ecosystems, including:
- Guadalquivir
- Atlantic
- Rainforest
- Oceanarium
- Indo-Pacific
They’ve also got two recently renovated areas including:
- ‘The Rainforest’ where you will find exotic animals such as green anacondas, turtles and bright colourful frogs. The area is set up to recreate their natural living habitats so includes trees and healthy tropical vegetation as well as some inca ruins to add to the look!
- ‘The Mangrove’ section is home to exotic tropical fish as well as big cork oaks.
- The aquarium also has a new Jellyfish exhibition to enjoy made up of 15 tanks where you can see all sorts of different jellyfish species and watch them casually jellyfish around!
