About Singapore Bird Paradise
Singapore Bird Paradise, also known as the Mandai Bird Paradise, is an incredible bird sanctuary within the 'Mandai Wildlife Reserve' (which is also home to Singapore Zoo, River Wonders and the incredible Singapore Night Safari - separate tickets required).
Singapore Bird Paradise covers 50 acres of beautiful green land with lakes, waterfalls, trees and plenty of space for the birds to live. The sanctuary is home to over 5,000 birds from more than 400 species and is setup over multiple themed-zones that are designed to replicate the natural habitats of the residents.
The zones include:
- Amazonian Jewels (home to toucan's)
- Shaw Foundation Australian Outback (home to Common Emu, Golden-shouldered parrot, Laughing kookaburra, Major Mitchell's cockatoo, Masked lapwig, Red-tailed black-cockatoo & Tawny frogmouth)
- Nyungwe Forest Heard of Africa (home to over 80 species including Great blue turaco, Grey parrot, Lesser flamingo, Red-crested turaco and Superb starling)

The sanctuary also offers a variety of shows and interactive exhibits that highlight the unique talents of the extraordinary birds. You can watch the aerial acrobatics of the 'Kings of the Skies' show, or the mesmerising ‘High Flyers' show’. You can even dine alongside parrots during ‘Lunch with Parrots’.
