About Singapore Night Safari
Singapore Night Safari is one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions and I, for one, couldn’t agree more and it will always be one of my favourite memories from my trip to Singapore.
First of all, how many other Night Time Safari’s do you know of! Yes, I appreciate that there may be some around, but not many, that is for sure. However, the Singapore Night Safari was the first and original!
At the Singapore Night Time Safari, you will find over 1000 nocturnal animals all going about their daily life, but with it being night time and dark, it feels extra special to see them doing it! You will see:
- Tasmanian Devil & North Island Brown Kiwi, Wallaby, Possums & Sugar Gliders
- Aardvark’s, Hyaenas, Babirusas, Bongos, Sloth Bear,
- Elephants, Malayan Tapirs, Lions, Hippopotamus and lots more!
Tram Ride
The Night Safari also offers a fun tram ride that takes you through different geographical regions, such as the Southeast Asian rainforest and the Indian subcontinent. This guided tram ride allows you to see many animals up close while comfortably seated if you don’t fancy walking around.
Walking Option
The safari also offers paths for you to walk down as well. Some prefer the paths as you can walk at your own pace and spend as much time as you like at the different areas.
The Singapore Night Safari is just good old family fun. No matter your age, if you are in Singapore and you have time to do it, I think it should be on your must-do column of things to do there.

- Yes, they are swapping some animals with Singapore Zoo. The Singapore Zoo are getting the Malayan Tigers and The Singapore Night Safari are getting the White Tigers from the zoo. This provides both pairs with new environments for them to explore.

- It normally takes visitors around 3-4 hours to enjoy the Singapore Night Safari.
