About Titanic Belfast

The Titanic Belfast is an award-winning attraction that is actually situated on the site where the actual ‘RMS Titanic’ was built, in the heart of the city's Titanic Quarter.

Titanic Belfast offers an immersive experience that explores the story of the Titanic, from its construction in Belfast to its ill-fated maiden voyage and tragic sinking in 1912.

The building itself is striking as it’s been designed to resemble the hulls of the Titanic, with four distinct wings that rise up to form a dramatic shape. It was opened to the public in 2012, coinciding with the centenary of the Titanic's sinking.

The experience offers nine interactive galleries that are spread over multiple floors, and each is dedicated to a different aspect of the Titanic's story. You can explore everything from the ship's design and construction in Belfast's Harland and Wolff shipyard to the experiences of the passengers and crew onboard.

The Titanic Belfast also contains a significant collection of Titanic-related artefacts, including items salvaged from the wreck site, personal belongings of passengers, and replicas of various rooms and areas of the ship.

It offers a range of interactive experiences, such as ride simulations, interactive displays, and audio-visual presentations, which bring the Titanic's story to life in a vivid and engaging manner.

In addition to its role as a tourist attraction, the experience also serves as an educational resource and research centre and provides valuable insights into the Titanic's history and its enduring legacy.

It’s a great place to visit and something the whole family can enjoy together.
