The Vancouver Lookout Observation Deck is one of the city's most popular attractions and offers great panoramic views of the surrounding area.
The Observation Deck is in the heart of downtown Vancouver in the Harbour Centre building which is one of the city’s tallest buildings at 168 metres (553 feet) tall. It provides a 360-degree lookout over Vancouver’s skyline, including landmarks like Stanley Park, the Vancouver Convention Centre, and Gastown from a bird’s-eye view, as well as views of the Pacific Ocean, and the beautiful North Shore Mountains.
A quick glass elevator ride takes you up to the observation deck in just 40 seconds, where you’ll be greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows and amazing views in all directions!
The observation deck also has informative displays explaining the history, culture, and geography of Vancouver. It was opened by Neil Armstrong in 1977, 8 years after he went to the moon!
