It’s housed in a former bank building and offers an immersive experience, bringing to life some of history's most iconic figures from the realms of art, popular culture, sports, and cinema!

Today, the museum boasts over 350 wax figures which are displayed across 28 halls and include legendary historical figures like Leonardo da Vinci and Queen Elizabeth I to modern-day icons such as Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí!

Other figures on display include:
  • Barak Obama
  • Lionel Messi

Some of the sections include:
  • "The Depth of the Sea" - represents the world and how we can help protect it.
  • The "Climate Crisis" room represents the issues we face with climate change and is home to the Greta Thunberg waxwork.
  • "Homage to Catalonia" where you will find the fun Castellers towers (the annual event where the people form the human towers)!

Interactive Exhibits

One of the unique aspects of the Wax Museum in Barcelona is its interactive exhibits. Unlike traditional museums where visitors are often restricted from touching the exhibits, this museum encourages interaction!
