About SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Yas Island

Welcome to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi! The amazing marine-life theme park in Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, the vast man-made island that is home to multiple theme parks and other entertainment! SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is the region’s first marine life theme park and as we all know, when the UAE does things, they generally do it very well indeed!

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is spilt in to 8 main aquatic features that include:

1. Endless Ocean: The world’s largest indoor aquarium! The vast space is home to more than 68,000 marine animals including sharks, rays and A LOT of fish! Sit at the viewing windows and be mesmerised by the aquatic inhabitants. Watch the sharks and rays as they glide past the windows. Sit and watch the schooling fish and they twist and turn through the water. You will forget about time as you just sit and relax and watch them!
2. One Ocean: A spectacular live show that celebrates the interconnectedness of life. The One Ocean area uses media technology to create incredible displays and underwater scenes for you to enjoy!
3. Abu Dhabi Ocean: In this section you can see the incredibly diverse marine life that lives in the Arabian Gulf that includes dugong, sea snakes, turtles, sharks and rays! The section also has touch pools with some animals you can carefully touch!
4. Rocky Point: A fun section that replicates a hidden cove set in the USA! You can see cheeky (and noisy!) sea lions and seals, otters, pelicans and fish! The section uses technology to even create water currents and waves to ensure the animals feel like they are living in their own natural habitats!
5. MicroOcean: A fun section that has rides for the family to enjoy! The section is home to games and activities and experiments as well as other fun educational bits as well!
6. Tropical Ocean: This is an exotic section set up as a tropical rainforest, with a crystal clear lagoon and is home to dolphins, flamingos, rays and tropical fish as well as colourful tropical birds including macaws! The section also has the fun Manta Coaster, an indoor rollercoaster for those that want to ride it! You can also sit and enjoy a fun dolphin presentation!
7. Arctic: Feel the chill in the arctic section! Here you will find an incredible frozen landscape that is home to animals of various sizes, both large and small! Will you spot the walruses and the noisy puffins (if you don’t hear them first!) as well as the playful sea otters and fish in the water! You can enjoy a ride in the research vessel and the Hypersphere 360°!
8. Antarctica: Another chilly section, the Antarctica area is home to SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s playful penguin colony! The section has 6 different penguin species that include king penguins, gentoo penguins, rockhopper penguins, chinstrap penguins, macaroni penguins and Adélie penguins! The section also has more fun interactive experiences and rides to enjoy!
9. Animal Encounters & Presentations: Watch fun presentations with dolphins, sea lions, rays and more! SeaWorld Abu Dhabi offers multiple opportunities to enjoy presentations and even get up close with some species! You can feed sea lions, touch crabs, fish and rays in the small touch pools. You can scuba dive in the pool or come face-to-face with a dolphin! You can even kayak on the tropical lagoon!
10. Thrilling Rides: Family-friendly rides inspired by the ocean.
