Xel-Há, which means "where the water is born" in Mayan, is a natural aquarium where you can dive into the wonders of the Mexican Caribbean. The park is proud of its sustainable tourism and offers a mix of turquoise waters, beautiful landscapes, and incredible marine life and wildlife.

As you explore the park, you’ll discover a mix of beautiful flowers, plants, wildlife and marine life including colourful tropical fish, exotic birds and other animals.

  • Snorkelling in Paradise: A standout attraction at Xel-Há is its world-class snorkelling! You can enjoy crystal-clear waters that are filled with marine life, allowing snorkelers to explore an incredible underwater world with coral reefs, schools of tropical fish, and even stingrays making the occasional appearance! If you haven’t been snorkelling before, this place is not a bad place to start! Just as long as you know not everywhere else is like it!
  • River Floating: You can float along Xel-Há’s natural river and drift through the park’s surroundings and again enjoy the plants and wildlife along the river.
  • Cliff of Courage: Adventurous spirits won’t be disappointed at Xel-Há! The "Cliff of Courage" offers those brave enough the chance to leap into the refreshing waters from various different heights and delivers both an adrenaline rush and amazing view of the park.
  • Scenic Lighthouse: At 131 feet (40 metres), the Scenic Lighthouse offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. To get down you can enjoy a fun water slide back down to ground level!
  • Adventure World for Kids: If you are visiting Xel-Há with kids, you will find a fun dedicated space for them! Adventure World features interactive play areas, water slides, as well as educational exhibits for you to enjoy!
